Mike joined Sheldons in late 1996 as a graduate Valuer and has been involved in a wide range of valuation assignments. He became a Registered Valuer in 2000 and is now one of the Company Directors.
He has concentrated on Auckland’s Western and Central suburbs, with a core focus on Industrial and Commercial properties. Mike has developed strong relationships with local real estate agents enabling him to provide accurate, timely and cost effective advice.
From 2006 Mike moved to the corporate sector, undertaking valuations that were varied both geographically and by type. During this time he completed Valuations throughout New Zealand for Institutional and Corporate owners. He also undertook consultancy for clients in relation to their existing properties and potential acquisition of new assets.
Mike returned to Sheldons in 2011 and now focuses primarily on industrial and commercial property and brings a wealth of experience gained during his time working elsewhere in both the Suburban and Corporate markets. He also undertakes some residential and commercial valuations on Waiheke Island as he often spends time at his family’s bach in Oneroa.
Mike lives with his wife and two young boys and enjoys spending time with his family, fishing, cooking and sports. He particularly enjoys running and cycling and has completed numerous marathons, most recently Auckland in 2013, and two Ironman Triathlons.
