A Qualified Valuer since 1991, David initially trained with the Victorian Valuer General, he has practiced in northern Victoria ever since. He was instrumental in the inception and delivery of the API Specialist Water Valuer Accreditation, and continues to present to that course, and has addressed several national & international conferences in relation to interpretation of water markets.
A rural and regional valuation specialist, David has particular expertise in relation to irrigation properties, including dairies, orchards, vineyards, and intensive animal enterprises. He has strong experience in the valuation of major food processing plants, and regional commercial and industrial holdings. David is experienced in expert witness matters, having given evidence in several high profile litigation matters, including the collapse of the Timbercorp Almonds business. David is also an Accredited Retail Specialist Valuer, and undertakes rental determinations on a regular basis.
David currently serves as Chair of North East Water (a Victorian urban water authority). He has an extensive governance background, via his membership of the Australian Institute of Company Directors. He has a strong interest in regional economic development, and he is currently Chair of the Committee for Greater Shepparton, and sits on several State Government Ministerial Taskforces.
